CardsOn (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the CardsOn application across all supported platforms (Android, iOS, Desktop, Web, and Server).
CardsOn lets you store personal reference data — such as identification numbers, license plates, policy numbers, member IDs, and similar facts — as cards. This data is created and stored by you, locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to the contents of your cards.
We may collect information about the device you use to access the app, such as device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers, primarily through our diagnostics and analytics providers.
To keep the app stable and improve it over time, we collect crash reports and anonymized usage data, including which features are used and timestamps of access. This data does not include the contents of your cards.
We use the collected data for various purposes:
CardsOn stores your cards and preferences locally on your device using SQLDelight. This data remains on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. No account is required to use the app.
CardsOn offers on-screen masking of sensitive fields so values are revealed only when you choose. The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. We do not have access to the contents of your cards. Diagnostics and usage data are processed by the third-party services described below.
CardsOn uses Google Firebase (Crashlytics and Analytics) to collect crash reports and anonymized usage data. These services may collect device identifiers and diagnostic information and are governed by their own privacy policies:
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Because your cards are stored locally on your device, you can delete them at any time within the app, and uninstalling the app removes them from your device.
Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date.
